Currently under construction, a 4000ft pavilion style new build property for a private client in this affluent part of Surrey.  The contemporary design incorporates large expanses of glazing to the central living space, under an architectural RC roof. 

Bedroom wings fan out from the main space to create a sense of seclusion, with picture windows framing the external soft landscaping.  Polished plaster, porcelain tile, timber floor finishes and bespoke joinery hide a comprehensive mechanical and electrical installation complete with air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, MVHR and air conditioning systems.  Due for completion Spring 2024.

 

 

East Molesey

 

Completed in Summer 2023, this project consisted of the extension and alteration of an impressive 7-bedroom, 4-story detached property, a stone’s throw from Hampton Court Palace.

The single-story side extension, complete with structural glass roof, created level access to the property, and the new internal lift has provided our valued client use of Lower Ground, Upper Ground and 1st floors with ease.  An external lift was also installed to the Rear Terrace, and the combination of new resin bound driveways and pathways has given our client the freedom to use outside spaces, including the newly modernised pool house all year round.

Significant internal structural alterations were carried out to create the new lift shaft, including new waterproofing to below ground levels.  In addition, remedial structural works were undertaken to the 3-story bay window on the front elevation, re-enforcing a previously failed construction detail.  The design also called for the rearrangement of numerous rooms on all levels to facilitate the lift.  This resulted in three new bathroom suites, the redesign of the existing under floor heating and AV systems, new bespoke joinery to the Study, full Kitchen re-fit and the creation of a bespoke Cinema Room.
